Great Small Group connection this past Sunday in the Small group LOUNGE! If you missed it you can still get connected. Just talk with Jason, Grant or Myself.
Connections Service… WOW! What a cool morning. Special thanks to the Ben and the UGA band what a great worship set. Thanks also to our friends Mac and Mark for ending in an unforgettable way. Pray for them as their band (Third Day) hits the road for an extensive tour. Pray for Amy and Stephanie (wives) as they fly solo at home with kids during the tour as well. The home gig is MUCH harder than being adored nightly by thousands of fans…
Great energy and great effects are happening each week. If you miss a week, you miss a lot!
Blog Question of the week:
What is your favorite part of the Connection experience so far this year?
Is your connection with God stronger, deeper?
Have you plugged in and gotten connected with others at a new level?
Have you been one of many to reach out and connect with the culture?
Let everyone know!

What were your highlights for Sunday? Tell us about your conversations and experiences.
Check out some of the pictures below…
A highlight for me was of course having Mac Powell (from the group Third Day) lead us in a few songs. In addition to Mac Powell, The Ben Robbins Band did a great job in leading us through the service. The real highlight for me, however, was getting to talk with a few new faces after the service. One girl has just moved back to the area, and she is trying to find a Small Group in which to connect. Another young couple just got engaged last weekend. It is always exciting to hear how God is working in peoples lives.

I LOVE… the music and the worship time to include giving offering during the worship, as worship.
What a great week! I love… so many parts of the Connections service. I Love… The next step group that met this past week in the lobby @9:30. What a diverse and cool group. Getting to know 5 new folks below the surface was awesome.
I Love… the comments from so many after the service. Hearing how and what God is challenging and encouraging to be and to do is inspiring.
I love hearing you share those and want to ask you to take 2 minutes and do that here… Finish one of these statements and I will see you this Sunday…
1. I love…
2. God is challenging me…

I am so excited about our church. No one has done what we are doing. Can you think of any other church in Georgia or the Southeast or the country for that matter that has 3 distinct services at the SAME TIME with 3 different speakers on the same campus? Only God can pull something like that off.
Now we have no excuse for not inviting those that are seeking. No matter what style a person might like it is a fit.
Although the blended service had a major spike on Sunday I think I am most excited about Pastor Elias and The Brazilian fellowship. They had the biggest move of time and space and while they normally run in the 60’s there were over 75 this Sunday! That culture is very much a Sunday EVENING meeting group. They stepped up with great excitement.
The Connections Service is poised to be that environment where lasting changes become reality. I have gotten a few Spacebook or MyFace (whatever) post this week that reminded me of days gone by. Years ago in Orlando there was a group of about a thousand that met each week and did what we are doing right now. It started as a few hundred and just kept growing. The best part is that it was the life change that remains. I got two unprompted e-mails this week from people that shared their life change moments and stories from that time over a decade ago.
That is happening right now and is going to grow. I am so stoked to be a part of it. I still believe this year will be that kind of year. The year we saw God move in a dramatic way collectively and individually.
What God is doing is amazing and we get to be a part.
See you Sunday if not before,
2N
